SRV Minutes 10-24-07

 

Meeting held at night of shipping.

 

Members in attendance: Larry, Holland, and Steve

Bruce and Ryan were contacted by phone about items discussed and they are in agreement. Jon was not available. Brad wants to be a member and participate in the buy in. He was contacted by phone and was favorable with the items discussed.

 

After discussion, it was agreed that the club should own all the assets used by the club.

 

The club will purchase the following from Steve and Holland:

            Trailer                         $1000

            12 Crates                     $600

            Plastic pegboard         $144

            Benzing Club Unit       $450

 

The club will purchase the following from Holland: 

            Hoist & chain              $250 

 

The club will purchase the following from Steve:

            Printer                         $200

 

The club will purchase the following from Bruce, Larry, and Brad:

            Carrier & Crates         $500

 

Members who can not pay their share all at once may have up to two years to pay their share in full. At least ¼ will be due at the beginning of each young bird and old bird season. If payments are not received on time, they will loose their vested interest.

 

At this time, it is understood that the following wish to purchase shares:

Larry, Bruce, Holland, and Steve

Not participating: Junior & disabled (not participating) Jon and Ryan. Also Brad.

 

As a condition of the above, a constitutional amendment shall be passed as follows:

DISBANDMENT

SECTION 2.--CLUB MEMBERS WILL HAVE CLAIM TO CLUB ASSETS TO BE DISPOSED OF ONLY IF THEY MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: A. ACTIVE MEMBERS, WHO BOUGHT AN INITIAL EQUAL SHARE IN THE PURCHASE OF ASSETS IN 2007. B. ACTIVE MEMBERS WHO HAVE JOINED SINCE THE 2007 PURCHASE, WHO HAVE FLOWN AT LEAST FIVE OLD BIRD SERIES AND FIVE YOUNG BIRD SERIES WITH THE SRV CLUB. JUNIOR AND DISABLED MEMBERS WILL HAVE NO CLAIM TO CLUB ASSETS. C. A NEW MEMBER MAY ALSO BUY AN EQUAL SHARE, BYPASSING THE FIVE YEAR RULE, BY PAYING $600 UP FRONT. (article 10 section 2 added 11-24-07)
